Privacy Policy

appsforwork.ai is a service of Agile Consulting ("we", "us", "our"). We build, host, and manage custom AI-powered web applications for the organizations we work with. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the service, how we use it, and the choices you have. For how we handle the business data your organization stores in its tools, see our Data Policy.

Information we collect

Accounts on the service are created for you by your organization or by us on its behalf — we do not offer public self-registration. In the course of providing the service we collect:

  • Account information: your name, email address, and role, provided by your organization when your account is created.
  • Usage and activity data: pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the service, recorded for security auditing and to improve the product.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and log data generated automatically when you use the service.
  • Communications: messages you send us, such as support requests and bug reports submitted through the service.

Forms on our public pages

Some of our public pages offer contact or enquiry forms. These are open to anyone — you do not need an account to use one — so what we collect there is described separately here.

When you submit one of these forms we receive the information you type into it, such as your name, email address, phone number and message. Alongside it we automatically record technical details about the visit:

  • The page you submitted the form from, and the page that referred you to it (for example a search engine or a link on another site).
  • Your IP address.
  • Your browser, operating system, device type, language and timezone, and your screen size.
  • The date and time of the submission.

We collect this technical information to understand where enquiries come from, to reply in the right context, and to detect automated abuse of the forms. We use what you submit to respond to your enquiry and to follow up about it. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to marketing lists you did not ask for.

A submission is emailed to the relevant people on our team, and — if the form is set up to do so — we may send you a confirmation email acknowledging it. Submissions are stored so we can find and answer them; some forms are configured to email us without retaining a copy at all.

You can ask us what a form submission of yours contains, or ask us to delete it, by contacting info@agileconsulting.info.

How we use information

We use personal information to operate and secure the service, authenticate you, provide the tools your organization has engaged us to build, respond to support requests, monitor performance and reliability, meter usage of AI features, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Cookies and local storage

The service uses cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as theme and layout choices. On our public marketing pages we also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use those pages. Where a consent bar is shown, until you answer it that measurement is aggregate and cookieless: no analytics cookie is written and no identifier for you is stored or kept between visits. Accepting allows the first-party analytics cookie; declining turns analytics off entirely for your browser, including the cookieless measurement, and has no effect on the service. Analytics is not used inside the signed-in application. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and our analytics is configured without advertising features or cross-device signals. Blocking storage entirely will prevent sign-in from working.

AI features

Tools on the service use third-party AI model providers to process requests you make — for example, generating a summary or analyzing data you submit to an AI feature. Content sent to those providers is used to produce your result and is not used by us to train public AI models. See the Data Policy for more detail on AI processing.

When we share information

We share personal information only with:

  • Service providers that host and support the service — cloud hosting, database hosting, file storage, email delivery, and AI model providers — each bound to use it only to provide their service to us.
  • Analytics providers, for our public marketing pages only: we use Google Analytics to measure visits to those pages, configured without advertising features. Analytics does not run inside the signed-in application.
  • Your organization: administrators of your organization can see account and activity information for its workspace.
  • Legal authorities, where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users, the public, or us.
  • A successor entity, if we undergo a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — in which case this policy continues to apply.

Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When your organization ends its engagement with us, account data is deleted in accordance with our Data Policy.

Security

We protect personal information with encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, audit logging, and operational practices described in our Data Policy. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, and misuse.

Your rights and choices

You may access and update your profile information from within the service. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information. Because accounts are managed by your organization, some requests may need to go through its administrator; we will support those requests either way — contact us using the address below.

Children's privacy

The service is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we will notify affected organizations. Continued use of the service after a change takes effect means the updated policy applies.
